Centre of Performing Arts
State of the Art Facility
The Centre of Performing Arts is a specialist Performing Arts facility which was opened in October 2008 by old boy Te Arikinui King Tuheitia. The new building project, costing $6million, was started in 2007 with a fundraising target of $2million. The success of this campaign owes much to the generous donations of key supporters from the wider community.
The Centre of Performing Arts is a hive of activity on school days and the venue for school performances and functions. Outside school hours it is an invaluable asset available to community groups in Hamilton and the Waikato.
The Centre provides Music Practice Rooms, a Flat Floor Hall, Drama Room and substantial Gallery Foyer as well as the Auditorium pictured below.
