Theatre - Main Auditorium (Seats 400)

The Auditorium was completed in 2008 and has hosted a huge variety of performances by Southwell students already. The acoustically designed theatre enhances speech, song and music and provides a facility which is second to none elsewhere within the education sector in the Waikato region.  It is a fully functioning theatre, fully equipped with sound and lighting.  The theatre is beautiful and comfortable, delivering a rich experience for all the senses and with fabulous views from all seating positions.

The biggest annual event held in the theatre is the school Opera.  The theatre has also proved popular for community groups needing  a special venue, including international performers, the TV show "New Zealand's Got Talent" and has seen two film Premieres.
