things in life. Friends and family are key. I think the other important thing to being happy is knowing you have given your absolute best regardless of the success or otherwise of the outcome.
I can honestly say that my most vivid and fondest school memories are from my 3 years at Southwell and I am convinced that the influence that the school had over
me at that time helped enormously shape my attitude towards work ethic and the rewards that can come when you commit to something to the best of your ability. This I feel gives you a level of satisfaction and inner happiness
knowing you have given your absolute best .
I was privileged to get a tour recently of Southwell from Jason Speedy. It was incredible to see some familiar buildings and many modern improvements and a cohort of kids who seem to be completely engaged in their education and happy. I was sure the swimming pool was bigger when I was at Southwell 40 years ago!!!
Hopefully many of the kids I saw that day , will also look back in 40 years time and feel the school has played a really influential role in shaping them as decent and happy adults as it did for me
