TSOUTHWELL SCHOOL TRUST BOARD
hank you for entrusting the school with the on day one of term one as planned. The Alumni sports education and care of your children. pavilion is taking shape beside the cricket nets and the It’s wonderful to have had three more or less boarding house on schedule for construction
normal terms with sports, opera and camps proceeding almost as usual. Let’s hope that the pandemic’s impact on our lives is over. There will be ongoing effects but as timepasses these will diminish. Indeed, when I wander about the campus I see happy students working with engaged teachers, in the classroom, on the fields in the specialist rooms, on the stage and in the pool. There is a feeling of energy and positivity.
It is an environment that facilitates great learning.
I hope you feel it too. Good progress is being made on the two building projects currently under construction. We expect the junior block to be open
commencement during term one.
On behalf of the trust board all the best to our leavers and their families. Thank you Mr Speedy for your leadership and thank you to teachers and support people for what you do here at Southwell.

At Southwell School we are hands on. Our earliest brick making began in the 1920’s when boys of the school made the bricks to construct All Hallows Chapel and again in the late 1970’s for its extension. Since then, brick making has been an important activity experienced by every student. We invite you to roll up your sleeves and create your own strong ties to the school.
