Victoria Trenwith has been at Southwell since 2018 and has made an incredible impact as Director of
Instrumental Music during her time with us. Her dedication to our Orchestra programme, general
expertise and magnificent conducting skills for our varying orchestras and ensembles will be greatly missed. We wish her all the best in her new role as part of the Deputy Principal Team at Hamilton Girls High School.
Guy Velzian has taught for
40 years, 20 of these years at
Southwell. From being involved
in the design of our science labs
to a leader in Winchester House
his service is greatly valued. Guy
has developed a great science
curriculum (with Cindy Voss) over
time that has set our students in
an advanced place on entering secondary
school. Guy has been involved in all spheres of Southwell life since 1998, as a parent, teacher and from the boarding house to our sports fields. We wish him well for his new adventures.

has been a constant on the Southwell staff over the past 19 years. Wearing many hats with enthusiasm.

Kristian (2010-18) and Phoenyx (2014-2022)
We wish Mr T all the very best for his new role as Dean of Pasifika at Hamilton Boys High School and thank you for your many years of valuable service to the school!
