ALUMNI PRESIDENT%u2019S REPORTBRETT MABERAs we move through 2025, it%u2019s a pleasure to report on the continued progress of the SouthwellSchool Alumni Committee and the strength of our growing alumni community.Building on the momentum of last year, we%u2019ve made meaningful strides toward the goals outlined in our 2024 report. Our focus on creating a more vibrant and diverse alumni network remains central to our work, and it%u2019s been encouraging to see real traction across several fronts.We%u2019re especially pleased with the progress made in establishing regular alumni events. Our efforts to attract broader representation on the Alumni Committee, especially from our younger alumni, are starting to bear fruit. We%u2019ve welcomed several enthusiastic new members who bring fresh energy and diverse perspectives to the table. It%u2019s encouraging to see so many from across our community willing to step up, give back, and help shape the future of Southwell School.At the same time, we want to acknowledge and express deep gratitude to some key committee members who have recently stepped down. Tony Knowling and Kirstie Selby have both given many years of dedicated service to the Southwell Alumni, and their contributions have helped shape the path we are on today. A special thank you also goes to Rochelle Saunders, our outstanding Relationship Manager, whose support and commitment have been invaluable.Their legacy is in good hands, and we%u2019re excited to continue the journey with a team that reflects the best of what Southwell stands for, connection, tradition, and forward-thinking engagement.Our mission, %u201cThe Southwell School Alumni %u2013 We Are Family,%u201d continues to guide our efforts. Through the Southwell School Chronicle, newsletters, social media, and in-person gatherings, we%u2019re staying connected, sharing stories, and building a culture where every past student, parent, and staff member feels they have a place in the Southwell family.Thank you to everyone who has contributed time, energy, and passion to our work so far.
