Strong relationships between the parent community and the school are crucial. From coaching and managing sports groups, to helping out with a few hours in the Library, our parents are often the glue that allows activities to run.
Parent Engagement – Te Whaariki will be the term given to the group of parents/caregivers and staff who will come together to help facilitate events and a new initiative to showcase our School’s diversity, ‘A Celebration of Cultures Day’ at the end of Term 1.
The Parent Facilitator of Events and Engagement co-ordinates termly morning teas, where parents hear about the upcoming events and general direction of the school from our Senior Leadership Team and co-ordinates personnel for all parent led events such as The Disco, Opera Stalls, Chinese Culture Day and larger events such as The Golf Day and Gala Dinner, which would not happen without our incredible parent helper teams.
All parents and staff are automatically members of the Parent Support Group.
