We love seeing our students arrive with such enthusiasm for the day ahead. To ensure every child is safe and supported, please remember that formal supervision for the general school body begins at 8.00 am.

While specific groups – such as Choir, Orchestral Groups, Kapa Haka or trips and fixtures – may be invited earlier for practices, rehearsals and meetings, these are supervised for identified students only. Students arriving for these activities should go directly to their designated space.

Outside of specific school-organised activities, our teachers are busy preparing for the day’s learning and are not available to supervise.

If you choose to drop your child off before 8.00 am, and they are not part of an organised early-morning group, please be aware that they remain under your care and responsibility. While the school Library is unlocked to provide a warm and dry space, it is not a supervised area until 8.00 am.

Please be mindful that although staff members may be on-site preparing for the day, they will not be actively supervising students during this time before 8.00 am.
